Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), Mr. Dardan Fusha, took part in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB) Group Constituency level meeting at deputy held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where Kosovo alongside with representatives from the member states Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Türkiye.

Building on the outcomes of the recent IMF and WB Spring Meetings 2025 in Washington D.C., discussions focused on the global economic outlook, regional trends in Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe (CESEE), and strengthening resilience amid ongoing geopolitical tensions and economic fragmentation.

Kosovo’s progress with the IMF Program received positive recognition, particularly the successful final review under the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA) and the benefits of the Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF), which have supported macroeconomic stability and reform implementation.

Participants addressed global challenges such as supply chain disruptions, inflation, and trade tensions, while highlighting opportunities in digital transformation, green transition, and inclusive growth.

The meeting reaffirmed the importance of institutional resilience, fiscal sustainability, and good governance for attracting investment. Emphasis was placed on continued policy coordination, sound macroeconomic management, and leveraging multilateral support.

The session concluded with a shared commitment to cohesive representation and collaboration within the constituency, advancing reforms and policies aligned with global goals for sustainable development and financial stability.
