It is signed a cooperation agreement for enhancement of security in the banking sector

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti signed a cooperation agreement with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ekrem Mustafa, Director of Kosovo Police, Rashit Qalaj and the Executive Director of the Kosovo Banking Association, Petrit Balija.

This agreement was signed as a result of previous meetings held with representatives of these institutions, in which was discussed about the concerns related to the phenomenon of robbing the financial institutions in Kosovo. The agreement aims to enhance the cooperation in advancing the level of security in the banking sector so the banks, their staff and the citizens can have a safer environment for conducting their activity.

On this occasion, Governor Mehmeti thanked the engaged institutions for reaching this agreement of cooperation and the undertaken measures with the aim of providing a safer environment for financial institutions that operate in Kosovo.
