The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo has become a member of the International Operational Risk Working Group (IORWG).

By joining this working group, the CBK will benefit from active participation in various events, from the best operational risk management guidelines and practices developed by the Group.

The International Operational Risk Working Group is dedicated to advancing the management of operational risk in the central banking industry.

This Group has become an important forum in the global central banking industry for innovation, research, collective learning and exchange for sound & good practices.

The International Operational Risk Working Group was established in October 2005, initiated by a proposal from the Bank of Spain that was agreed to by seventeen Central Banks, whereas today the Group is made up of 95 member institutions.
