Governor Mehmeti hosted the representatives of the IMF in a meeting

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti, today hosted representatives of the International Monetary Fund, led by the head of the mission for Kosovo, Mr. Gabriel Di Bella.
In this meeting, Governor Mehmeti informed the representatives of the IMF about the good performance of the financial sector in Kosovo, in particular the banking sector, and emphasized the importance of this sector in supporting the economic development of the country.
Governor Mehmeti also disclosed the views of the Central Bank regarding the perspective of economic development in general and the role of the financial sector as a key contributor to the financing of the economy.

The representatives of the International Monetary Fund, led by the head of the Mission for Kosovo Mr. Gabriel Di Bella are staying in Kosovo for the start of consultations regarding Article IV for Kosovo.
