The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, accompanied by his delegation, met the Regional Vice President of the International Financial Corporation (IFC), Mr. Alfonso García Mora.

In the context of this meeting, Governor Ismaili informed Vice President Mora about the most recent developments in the financial sector, as well as the advancement of the legal and regulatory framework, in order to improve financial sector stability and expand access to finance.

With particular emphasis, the current projects under development that are being supported by the IFC, including the project for digitalization of financial services, were discussed.

The parties agreed on close collaboration in carrying out these activities, with a direct contribution and impact on financial services that promote access to finance and financial inclusion.
