The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), with the aim of encouraging reporting on the financial system, announces the call for the best writing and reporting on the economy – financial system, published in print or online media, as well as on radio and television outlets.

The award aims to recognize and reward the best journalism in the field of economics, with a special focus on the financial system. At a time when transparency and accurate information on financial issues are essential for citizens and businesses, this award will acknowledge and promote journalists who provide in-depth analysis, high-quality research, and balanced reporting on the financial system.

The award will become a tradition and will be presented annually, specifically on November 15 – the founding day of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo.

The CBK Award for Best Writing and Reporting for 2025 will be divided into the following categories:

• Best article published in a newspaper (online and PDF) (1);

• Best article published in online media/web portals (1);

• Best reporting broadcast on television (1); and

• Best reporting broadcast on radio (1).

The Selection Committee will consist of professionals in the fields of economic and financial journalism and the CBK team, which will evaluate submissions based on accuracy, objectivity, impact, and creativity of the reporting.

Articles or reports must have been published or broadcast during the current year, specifically between January 1, 2025 and October 31, 2025.

Articles should address topics related to the financial system, such as banking, insurance, pensions, financial inclusion, financial innovation, etc.

Reports must be based on accurate data, involve thorough research and an objective approach, and contribute to financial literacy through public impact.

Applications must include a short summary or supporting letter explaining how the data was used in the development of the article or report.

The deadline for submitting articles or reports is: October 31, 2025.

Winners will receive recognition from the CBK and a financial reward.
