The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili and his associates hosted the senior delegation of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), based in London, represented by Mr Hamid, International Director, and Mr Watkins, Senior International Lead.

During the meeting, it was discussed about the possibilities of cooperation in areas of common interest related to the advancement of the financial reporting framework, integrity plans, leadership, ESG, financial education, digitalisation and internal audit.

Also, the ways for capacity building through institutional exchange were discussed, particularly in the area of international standards for financial reporting and public accountability.

In the end, Governor Ismaili shared the CBK’s development plans with the CIPFA representatives, while CIPFA shared plans for international partnerships from around the world practices.
