Deputy Governor Havolli met the Executive Director of the World Bank for Kosovo

The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr.Sokol Havolli, has met the Executive Director of the World Bank for Kosovo, Mr.Hayrettin Demircan.

In this meeting, Deputy Governor Havolli has informed Mr. Demircan regarding the latest developments in the financial system of the Republic of Kosovo, with special emphasis on developments in the banking sector, emphasizing the importance of this sector in supporting the economic development of the country.

Also, Deputy Governor Havolli informed Mr. Demircan regarding the latest developments in the insurance sector and the results achieved in this sector.

On the other hand, the Executive Director of the WB for Kosovo, Mr.Hayrettin Demircan, has thanked the management of the CBK for the cooperation so far, emphasizing that the World Bank will continue to maintain a high level of cooperation with the CBK, in the implementation of projects whose main purpose is the continuous development of the financial sector and the economy of Kosovo in general.
