The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr Ahmet Ismaili with collaborators, hosted today in a meeting Mrs Venera Hoxha, Head of the Finance in Motion GmbH – European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE), Office in Kosovo and Albania, together with her team.
Governor Ismaili thanked Mrs Hoxha for the contribution provided by Finance in Motion GmbH/EFSE to the CBK and financial sector in Kosovo through a symbolic appreciation award.

During the meeting, the projects that have been supported by the EFSE Development Facility, such as CBK’s capacity building in the analysis of clients’ over indebtedness, the support in establishing the Financial Education Center and compilation of financial education materials were discussed. The cooperation will be advanced in coordination with other institutions.

The core topic revolved around the development of the platform for the comparison of effective interest rates of financial institutions, a project which has been confirmed to be supported by EFSE.

Mrs Hoxha emphasized that Finance in Motion/EFSE will continue to support both the CBK and financial sector in Kosovo, with special focus on projects impacting the environmental and social governance.
