The CBK and the FFK sign a memorandum of cooperation

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the President of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Mr. Agim Ademi.

Through this Memorandum, both parties have agreed on establishing ways of cooperation between the two institutions, and their starting point is the promotion of mutual cooperation in the field of financial education for young sportsmen, young age groups, who will be familiar with the fields of economics, personal finances, providing of the financial products and services and other mutual benefits in areas of common interest to Kosovo citizens.

On this occasion, the Governor of the CBK, Mr. Mehmeti and the President of the FFK, Mr. Ademi stated that this Memorandum enhances the cooperation between these two independent institutions, and with the request of the FFK, the CBK will attend lectures / seminars organized by FFK, through which will contribute with financial education topics that would benefit not only young people but also clubs under the umbrella of FFK.

The parties also agreed that during the organization of events with international character: “Olympic Days”, “International Money Week”, “World Savings Day” and other activities, the CBK should have access to hold various events in the sports institutions.

The signing of the memorandum of cooperation was also attended by the Deputy Governor, Mr.Sokol Havolli and the Secretary of FFK, Mr. Eroll Salihu.
