The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, in accordance with its publication calendar, presents the statistics for other financial institutions (non-banks) for December 2025.

Other financial intermediaries

The assets of other financial intermediaries at the end of January 2025 reached a value of €747.04 million, marking an increase of €3.10 million, or 0.42%, compared to the previous month.

The gross loans of other financial intermediaries for this month reached €551.88 million, representing an increase of €9.54 million compared to the previous period. By sectoral distribution, loans to households dominate, accounting for 58.72 % of the total loans of other financial intermediaries.

The value of new loans issued by other financial intermediaries in December 2025 amounted to €63.85 million.

Insurance companies

The assets of insurance companies at the end of December 2025 reached a value of €357.69 million, representing a relatively similar level compared to the previous month. The structure of assets in the insurance sector consists of balances with commercial banks, accounting for 49.59%, securities and other assets with 25.83%, and reinsurance with participation at 13.83%.

Pension funds

The assets of pension funds at the end of December 2025 reached a value of €3.77 billion. The structure of assets in the pension sector is dominated by shares and equity securities, which account for 80.11% of the total assets.
