The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti accompanied by the Chairman of the CBK Board, Mr. Flamur Mrasori were hosted by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Ms. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, where they congratulated her on her new assignment .

Governor Mehmeti briefed President Osmani-Sadriu on developments in the financial sector, including all the progress achieved in this sector, as well as its importance in the economic development of the country as a whole.

 At the same time, Governor Mehmeti mentioned the challenges and priorities of the CBK where the Assembly of Kosovo is the most important supporter in their implementation.

President Osmani-Sadriu thanked the Governor for the information provided and offered support for the realization of challenges and objectives of common institutional interest.

One of the important topics that requires priority treatment was finding a modality for the Green Card issue, so that our diaspora would find insurance cover within insurance policies of the country of origin, rather than having to pay extra for car insurance.

Both interlocutors pledged to have an inter-institutional cooperation that this topic to be dealt with priority and more intense dynamic.

The Governor thanked President Osmani-Sadriu for the reception and pledged cooperation and regular meetings in order to successfully accomplish common challenges for the respective institutions.
