The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti, received in a meeting the EBRD Managing Director for Central and Southeast Europe, Ms. Charlotte Ruhe.

Governor Mehmeti informed the participants about the latest developments in the financial sector and the measures taken by the CBK since the beginning of the pandemic, which have affected the sector in question to remain stable and liquid, being ready to helping at all times the citizens and the economy of the country.

The Governor thanked the EBRD for the cooperation and the projects implemented so far, while expressing the readiness and interest for  the two institutions to advance further with the joint cooperation.

On the other hand, Ms. Ruhe and other EBRD officials praised the measures taken by the CBK which have contributed to maintaining financial stability in the country, and also thanked Governor Mehmeti for the information provided, and expressed readiness to continue cooperation between the two institutions.
