The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti, received in a meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Kosovo, Çağri Sakar.

In this meeting, Governor Mehmeti informed the Ambassador about the latest developments in the financial sector and the further commitment of the CBK to help recover the economy and keep the financial sector stable and liquid, at a time when the country is facing a new wave of pandemic, as well as about the measures to curb the spread of the virus.

The Governor thanked Turkey for its continued assistance to Kosovo, including the financial sector, through cooperation with the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Authority.

On the other hand, Ambassador Sakar expressed his happiness for the cooperation between the two countries, while offering further support for the even greater advancement of relations.
