Governor Mehmeti met the executive director of the IMF for Kosovo

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti, welcomed the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund for Kosovo, Mr. Daniel Palotai, and the head of the Mission of the International Monetary Fund for Kosovo, Mr. Gabriel Di Bella.

In this meeting Governor Mehmeti announced Mr. Palotai and Mr. Di Bella regarding the latest developments in the country’s financial sector.

Also, Governor Mehmeti informed the attendees about the achievements in the financial sector during the last five years and emphasized the fact that the financial sector continues to be well capitalized, liquid and with positive performance.

Governor Mehmeti thanked the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund for Kosovo, for his commitment to increasing cooperation and the continuous assistance of the International Monetary Fund for the CBK and Kosovo.

On the other hand, Mr. Palotai expressed his gratitude for the cooperation so far and the readiness for continuous support for the CBK.
