The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, met with H.E. Tunç Angılı, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Kosovo, for an informative discussion.

During the meeting, Governor Ismaili presented the ongoing activities and plans of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo to achieve the objectives of its strategic plan.

The meeting discussed the current events and the stable financial system in the Republic of Kosovo, ensuring compliance with necessary legal and regulatory standards.

Governor Ismaili briefed Ambassador Angılı on the CBK’s views on macroeconomic developments, the financial system, and the prospects for legal and infrastructure changes.

The Governor and the Ambassador also discussed further cooperation with the Turkish regulatory and supervisory authorities, such as the Central Bank of Turkey and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA).

Concluding the discussion, Governor Ismaili expressed gratitude to the institution he leads for the support provided by the Republic of Turkey, with particular emphasis on the country’s economy and financial system.
