The study visit was assessed as an important step in strengthening regional and international cooperation in the fight against organized crime and money laundering, as well as a valuable opportunity to enhance institutional capacities in line with the highest European standards.

In conclusion, the CBK delegation expressed its appreciation to the Maltese authorities for the cooperation to date and extended special thanks to the Council of Europe for its continuous support within the framework of the PECK III project.
