CBK’s assets in October 2023 reached the amount of 1.84 billion euros, marking a decrease of 85.3 million euros compared to the previous month. The decrease in assets was mainly influenced by the withdrawal of deposits from pension funds for (52.9 million euros), commercial banks for (36.4 million euros) and public non-financial corporations (for 26.8 million). On the other hand, central government deposits have increased (for 33.0 million) and the deposit insurance fund (for 2.0 million euros).

CBK’s investments abroad, in the form of deposits and securities, decreased by 53.1 million euros during October 2023. Investments in deposits decreased by 18.4 million, and securities also decreased by 34.7 million euros, compared to September 2023. The value of these investments in deposits and securities abroad as of 31 October 2023 was 1.14 billion euros.

On 30 October 2023, deposits in CBK were 1.46 billion euros, of which 672.2 million are from the central government, 524.0 from commercial banks and 163.9 from PAK. Deposits in CBK decreased by 81 million euros in October compared to September. CBK’s capital on 30 October 2023 was 93.5 million euros.

At the end of October 2023, reserve assets marked the value of 1.36 billion euros, which is 15 million euros lower than in the previous month. This decrease has contributed to the reduction of foreign deposits for 3.1 million euros and investments in securities for 11.3 million euros.
