The CBK and MLSW agree to take measures to facilitate the receipt of pensions

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti met with the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr.Skender Reçica.

In this meeting, it was discussed to facilitate the access of pensioners to receiving pensions.

On this occasion, both parties have agreed on the mechanisms that will enable all pensioners in the Republic of Kosovo, the withdrawal of pensions and performance of other services through bank cards.

 These measures will allow pensioners to avoid the risk of exposure to Covid-19 and other health risks through long waits at bank counters.

Also, Governor Mehmeti and Minister Reçica agreed to start discussion on finding opportunities to completely release pensioners from all current fees that banks apply.
