Acting Governor Nurboja received the IMF Mission in a meeting

The Acting Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Bashkim Nurboja, together with the Deputy Governor for Financial Supervision, Nexhat Kryeziu, have received in a meeting the IMF Mission that is staying in Kosovo and is being led by Wouter Bossu, head of IMF mission for the evaluation of protective measures.
In this meeting, the current developments in the financial sector and the cooperation between the CBK and the IMF for various projects were discussed.

Acting Governor Nurboja has expressed his gratitude to IMF for the continuous support for CBK and for Kosovo in general.

“Since the process of evaluating the protective measures of the CBK by the IMF is quite important for our institution, the CBK has continuously treated and will treat with high priority all the recommendations from the Evaluation of Protective Measures”, said Nurboja.

The visit of the IMF Mission comes after the approval of Kosovo’s request for the programs (SBA-Stand-By Arrangement and RSF-Resilience and Sustainability Facility) by the Board of the International Monetary Fund in May of this year.
