The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti received in a meeting Mr. Andreas Patsis, Member of the Greek Parliament. 

Governor Mehmeti informed MP Patsis about the latest developments in the financial sector and the commitment of the CBK to overcome the situation as easily as possible, from the impacts caused by the pandemic.

The Governor mentioned the measures taken by the CBK to help citizens and businesses to more easily overcome the situation created, as well as actions to keep the financial sector stable and liquid.

Also, Governor Mehmeti expressed his readiness to deepen cooperation with financial institutions in Greece, in order to encourage the financial sector from this country to invest in Kosovo.

On the other hand, the Member of the Greek Parliament, Mr.Patsis thanked Governor Mehmeti for the reception and information provided, and expressed readiness to further increase cooperation between Greece and Kosovo in the financial sector.
