Notifications on the activity of the Board of the Central Bank at the meeting held on 29 June 2026.

The Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, at the meeting held on 29 June 2026, adopted the following decisions:

• Decision on the approval of the Annual Report of the Central Bank for 2025;
• Decision on the approval of the Regulation on the bridge institution tool;
• Decision on the approval of the Regulation on the sale of business tool;
• Decision on the approval of the Regulation on the asset separation tool;
• Decision on the approval of the Regulation amending and supplementing the Regulation on the procedures for handling claims for compensation of damages arising from compulsory motor third-party liability insurance;
• Decision on the approval of the following regulations:
  • Regulation on the official administration and liquidation of payment institutions and electronic money institutions;
  • Regulation on agents of payment service providers;
  • Regulation on the public register of payment institutions and electronic money institutions;
  • Regulation on initial capital and regulatory capital for payment institutions and electronic money institutions;
  • Regulation on outsourcing;
  • Regulation on safeguarding requirements for funds applicable to payment institutions and electronic money institutions;
  • Regulation on the transitional period for the implementation of Law No. 10/l-026 on Payment Services;
  • Regulation on accounting and external audit of payment institutions and electronic money institutions;
  • Regulation on internal controls and internal audit of payment institutions and electronic money institutions;
  • Regulation on the criteria for determining the minimum monetary amount of professional indemnity Insurance or Other Similar Guarantees;
  • Regulation on the authorization, granting of prior approvals and governance of payment institutions and electronic money institutions and on the registration of account information service providers;
  • Regulation on technical standards for strong customer authentication and common and secure open standards of communication;
  • Regulation on notifying the central bank of the republic of kosovo of major operational or security incidents;
  • Regulation on information and communication technology and security management;
  • Regulation on access of non-bank payment service providers to payment systems;
  • Regulation on Procedures for the Imposition of Administrative Penalties.
