The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, together with the Deputy Governor for Banking Operations, Mr. Dardan Fusha, met with the Chair of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC), Mr. Albert Zogaj, who was accompanied by Mr. Besnik Ramosaj.

Governor Ismaili informed Mr. Zogaj about recent developments in the banking sector, including its continued stability and the reforms undertaken by the CBK to strengthen supervisory functions and improve access to finance.

During the meeting, the parties discussed shared challenges identified in practice during the exercise of their institutional functions, within the context of the independent roles of both institutions. Both sides emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation as independent bodies, in order to address common challenges and promote institutional efficiency.

In this context, agreement was expressed on further expanding cooperation on matters of shared public interest, always in line with each party’s respective mandate and competencies.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo reaffirms its commitment to institutional cooperation, with the goal of implementing its mandate and fulfilling its objectives in the service of the public interest.
