Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti, during his visit to Skopje, met with the Chairperson of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi.

Governor Mehmeti informed Mr Xhaferi regarding the developments in the economy, and particularly in the financial system of the Republic of Kosovo, highlighting the macroeconomic stability and the important role of the financial system in supporting the sustainable growth of the domestic economy.

Governor Mehmeti has also highly appreciated the cooperation of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo with the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia and expressed his commitment to further deepen the cooperation in all areas necessary for the advancement of the activity of central banks.

On the other hand, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia thanked Governor Mehmeti for his visit and congratulated him for the good work of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo in providing a stable financial system and in supporting the stability and development of the economy of Kosovo.
