Governor Ismaili hosted in a meeting by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili, was hosted in a working meeting by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti.

During this meeting, Governor Ismaili informed Prime Minister Kurti about the latest developments and objectives of the CBK, adding that the financial system in the Republic of Kosovo is stable and within the defined parameters.
During the meeting, Governor Ismaili and Prime Minister Kurti also discussed aspects of inter-institutional coordination related to the implementation of the CBK objectives.

On this occasion, Governor Ismaili revealed parts of his Strategic Plan, with an emphasis on the objective of financial inclusion, digitization of banking services and support of the country’s economy, and other initiatives related to sustainable and responsible banking.
Part of the discussion was the challenges for membership in the Green Card for vehicles and the listing of the Republic of Kosovo on global payment platforms.

During this meeting, Governor Ismaili was given institutional support by the Prime Minister Kurti for addressing the challenges and achieving the objectives of the CBK to the benefit of citizens of the country and the state in general.
