During his stay in Marrakesh, the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), Ahmet Ismaili, continues to hold meetings with senior officials of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank (WB) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

On the third day of the annual meetings of the IMF and the WB, Governor Ismaili had a conversation with the Deputy Director of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the IMF, Mr. Miguel Savastano, with the Vice President of the IFC for Europe, Mr. Alfonso Garcia Mora, IFC Regional Director, Ms. Rana Karadsheh and the Executive Director of the IMF Constituency, Mr. Daniel Palotai.

During separate meetings, the main aspects of cooperation and development priorities between the CBK and these international financial institutions were presented.

Similarly, Governor Ismaili expressed his commitment for a constructive dialogue and further support and advancement of institutional relations.

During the next days, Governor Ismaili will also have meetings with governors of central banks and other participating financial institutions, in addition to signing the agreement for membership in the “Reserve Advisory & Management Partnership” Program (RAMP), of the Treasury of the World Bank.
