Governor Ismaili met with the delegation of the World Bank’s Financial Sector Advisory Committee (FinSAC), chaired by Mr. Vahe Vardanyan

Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr Ahmet Ismaili, and his associates, welcomed in a meeting the delegation of the Financial Sector Program (FinSAC) of the World Bank based in Vienna, chaired by Mr Vahe Vardanyan.
Mr Vardanyan together with his team congratulated Governor Ismaili for taking office in the position of Governor of CBK and offered their willingness to support.
During the continuation of this meeting, Governor Ismaili thanked the representatives of FinSAC for the close cooperation with CBK and the technical assistance provided so far in the field of banking supervision, especially the technical assistance related to the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process and Climate and Environmental Risks.
In this meeting, they discussed about the possible cooperation in the future between the two institutions in the field of banking supervision, in the field of financial stability and in the field of bank recovery and winding up.
In the meeting, it was concluded that the cooperation between the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo and FinSAC will improve in the following years in the 3-year program, in function of the development of the regulatory and supervisory framework as well as of the CBK human capacity building.
Governor Ismaili thanked Mr Vardanyan and his team for constructive discussions and willingness to assist CBK through technical assistance.
