Financial statistics for other (non-bank) financial institutions for June 2024

According to the publication calendar, the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo has published the statistics for other financial institutions for June 2024.

Other financial intermediaries

The assets of other financial intermediaries at the end of June 2024 marked the value of 583.66 million euros, remaining almost at the same level as that of the previous month.

The asset structure of these institutions is dominated by loans, which constitute 67.93% of total assets. Gross loans of other financial intermediaries in June 2024 reached the value of 396.48 million euros, representing an increase of 6.13 million euros compared to the previous period. By sector, loans to households dominate with 59.76% of the total loans of other financial intermediaries.

The value of new loans issued by other financial intermediaries in June 2024 was 51.60 million euros.

Insurance companies

The assets of insurance companies at the end of June 2024 reached the value of 326.21 million euros, representing an increase of 7.59 million euros compared to the previous month. The structure of assets in the insurance sector consists of the balance with commercial banks, which constitute 44.97%, securities and other assets 28.39% and reinsurance with participation of 15.48%.

Pension funds

Pension fund assets at the end of June 2024 reached the value of 2.94 billion euros. The asset structure of the pension sector is dominated by equity securities, which constitute 78.02% of total assets.
