Acting Governor Nurboja hosted representatives of the International Monetary Fund at a meeting

The Acting Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Bashkim Nurboja, together with the Deputy Governor for Financial Supervision, Nexhat Kryeziu, hosted the representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), who are staying in Kosovo.
The meeting discussed the current developments in the financial sector and the cooperation between the CBK and the IMF for various projects.
The Acting Governor Nurboja has thanked the IMF for the continuous support for CBK and for Kosovo in general. In the meeting, the developments related to the implementation of the IMF and Kosovo Program were discussed, with special emphasis on the fulfilment of the obligations and duties of the CBK, which arise from the implementation of this Program. The Acting Governor emphasized the readiness of the CBK was emphasized to the governor that, in accordance with the commitments taken, they will be carried out on time, based on the legislation in force.
The parties also agreed to address issues of mutual interest to find implementation in harmony with the legal mandate.

The IMF delegation is led by Mr. Mark Horton, Deputy Director of the European Department at the IMF, accompanied by Mr. Gabriel Di Bella, Head of Mission for Kosovo, European Department, Mrs. Stephanie Eble, Permanent Regional Representative for the Western Balkans, responsible for the office in Kosovo, European Department and Mrs. Ezgi Ozgul Ozturk, Economist in the European Department.

Within the framework of the visit of the IMF Mission, meetings were held with representatives of Kosovo’s institutions.
