Governor Mehmeti received the IMF mission in the meeting

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti, met with representatives of the International Monetary Fund, led by the head of the International Monetary Fund Mission for Kosovo, Mr. Gabriel Di Bella and Ms. Stephanie Eble, representative of the regional office for the Western Balkans.
In this meeting, the latest developments in the financial sector and the commitments of CBK in the further advancement of this sector were discussed.

Governor Mehmeti informed the attendees that the financial sector is continuing the positive trend this year as well, being liquid and with positive performance, increasing lending activity for the economy and citizens.

He thanked the IMF for the continuous support given to Kosovo and CBK in particular throughout all these years.

On the other hand, the head of the IMF Mission for our country, Mr. Gabriel Di Bell, thanked Governor Mehmeti for the cooperation, while expressing his willingness to continue supporting and implementing various projects together with the CBK, which would benefit citizens and the economy in general.
