Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, together with the Minister of Finance Mr. Murati, participated in a meeting organized by the International Monetary Fund with the governors and ministers of finance of the Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe countries.

The annual meeting takes place according to the official format of the IMF, during the annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank in Washington, D.C., under the leadership of the director Mr. Kammer, and was focused on the European economic outlook, presenting current developments and expectations for key economic and financial indicators.

This closed-door meeting serves as a platform for central bank governors and finance ministers to discuss economic prospects and challenges in the region

Based on the “European Economic Outlook” report presented during the meeting, it follows that the economy of the region shows significant stability and that the expectations for its development are positive.
