The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti, received the students of the Primary School “Faik Konica” from Prishtina. On this occasion, Governor Mehmeti has explained the importance of money in everyone’s life, ways of saving it and identifying false banknotes.

Lectures with the pupils of this school were held within the framework of “Global Money Week in the function of financial education”, which is being organized for the 6th year in a row. Governor Mehmeti has stated that this organization aims to empower young generations, to be in step with time, accountable, and citizens who continually develop and enhance their economic knowledge. “Also, with the right support in educating young generations, we will be able to enhance financial knowledge in order to create a better life for them”, stated Governor Mehmeti. Also, the Education Division has conducted a workshop with children, which ones have demonstrated their skills and knowledge of money, saving them, and are well acquainted with the fields and the interest that education represents for them.
