In this session, the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) was discussed in detail, including its integration, regulatory framework and its impact on financial inclusion and economic growth.

Discussions have included the role of SEPA in facilitating cross-border payments and improving the efficiency of transactions, strengthening the stability and integration of the Eurozone financial systems.

In addition, the panellists addressed the experience of countries outside of SEPA, emphasizing initiatives that respond to innovations in payments and arrangements while maintaining prudent regulatory standards. The challenges and opportunities of SEPA within the broader context of digital transformation in financial services were also discussed.
