Governor Mehmeti continues meetings with representatives of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank

During his stay at the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, Governor Mehmeti is continuing the meetings with representatives of these two institutions.

Governor Mehmeti has held meetings with the head of the International Monetary Fund Mission for Kosovo, Mr. Di Bella, as well as with the Director of our Constituency in the Fund, Mr. Palotai.

During this period, Governor Mehmeti also met with the Director of the European Department of the International Monetary Fund, Alfred Kammer, whom he informed about the latest developments in the financial system of Kosovo, which continues to play an important role in supporting economic development of the country.

In the meeting with the Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia, Anna Bjerde, in addition to the discussion regarding the developments in the financial system in the country, it was also discussed about the further support of the CBK through various projects, with the aim of further development of the financial system in Kosovo.

During today’s day, the Governor will also have meetings with the Department of Monetary Policy and Capital Markets, will participate in the annual plenary meeting of the Board of Governors, as well as in the meeting of our Constituency in the International Monetary Fund.
