The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK) announces a competition for students in grades X-XII of upper secondary schools in Kosovo to make videos on one of the following topics:

  • The impact of technology on the way we use money
  • Proper management of personal budget
  • Savings and their importance for young people
  • Digitalization of financial services
  • The first steps towards a personal financial plan
  • Planning long-term financial goals
  • Financial education as the key to personal success

Purpose of the competition

This competition aims to inform and raise awareness among young people about the importance of financial education, encouraging them to gain knowledge and convey practical messages on money management, financial planning, savings and protection from digital financial risks. Through creative videos, participants will help raise awareness of smart financial decisions and build a stronger financial culture among their peers.

Evaluation and Awards

The accepted videos will be evaluated by a special committee, which will select the 5 best videos that will be awarded with €200 each.

Admission rules and evaluation criteria

  1. The video can be made individually or by a group.
  2. The video must be an original and creative work, which clearly conveys the message of the chosen topic.
  3. The video must have high visual and audio quality.
  4. The video should have a clear structure and fluidity in the narrative.
  5. The video should be creative and attractive to viewers.
  6. The video can be in Albanian or Serbian.
  7. The video length should be between 1 and 3 minutes.
  8. The video must have content appropriate to the topic and not be copied.

  • Participant’s first and last name
  • School name and grade
  • Phone number
  • Parent’s phone number
  • Personal email

Other information

The winning videos will become the property of the CBK and will be used as educational materials.

  • After the evaluation process is complete, only winning students will be contacted.
  • Deadline for submission: March 5, 2025.
