On 14 July 2023, the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Financial Intelligence Unit.
This memorandum was signed in the spirit of cooperation and mutual interest and aims to facilitate the exchange of information and the building of supervisory capacities for compliance with international standards in the field of prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism.

CBK and FIU-K remain strong partners in joint efforts to combat money laundering and financing of terrorism. CBK also thanks the Council of Europe and the European Union for the continuous support through the PECK project in the field of prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism.
