The Deputy Governor for Financial Supervision of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), Mr. Milot Cakaj and his associates conducted an official visit to the Financial Supervision Authority of the Republic of Albania (FSA).

Deputy Governor Cakaj during the meeting with the General Executive Director of the FSA, Mrs. Mimoza Kaçi discussed the main developments in the insurance and non-bank market, including the advancement of the legal and regulatory framework and the exchange of experiences in specific areas that fall under the scope of the CBK and the FSA.

The meeting also focused on topics of common interest, such as the approach to insurance sector reforms related to IFRS 17, Solvency II and financial education.

Director Kaçi also expressed the willingness of the FSA to share experiences and give their contribution in matters of interest to the CBK and its processes.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Governor Cakaj and Director Kaçi agreed on the deepening of cooperation in areas of common interest through colleges and joint bodies.

The meeting in Tirana is the continuation of the visit of the head of the FSA to the CBK in February, demonstrating close inter-institutional relations.
