During the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund being held in Washington, a delegation of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Governor Fehmi Mehmeti, met with World Bank Vice President Cyril Muller and World Bank Director for the Western Balkans, Linda Van Gelder.
In these meetings, topics of discussion included the recent macroeconomic developments in Kosovo, Development Policy Loan (DPL), portfolio of projects with the WB and their implementation status, the projects that are planned to be implemented and for which requests for technical assistance will be submitted.

Governor Mehmeti thanked the World Bank for the continued support provided to the CBK in the development of many important projects for the financial system in Kosovo. On the other hand, World Bank officials expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of the projects so far and promised further support to the CBK. The CBK delegation, led by Governor Mehmeti, also met with the Director of our World Bank Constituency, Guenther Schoenleitner.
