Senior CBK delegation participates in IMF and WB spring meetings

A senior delegation of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo led by Acting Governor, Bashkim Nurboja and Nora Latifi Jashari, Acting Deputy Governor for Banking Operations are taking part in the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which are being held in Washington, USA.

The CBK delegation will meet senior officials of the IMF and the WB, where they will discuss the latest economic, fiscal and financial developments, as well as the expectations for 2023.

In the meetings that will take place until 15 April, the implementation of recommendations from previous reports of technical assistance will also be discussed, as well as expressions of interest for future support.

The annual meetings, organized by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, bring together central bankers, finance and economic development ministers, parliamentarians, private sector leaders, representatives from civil society organizations and academics to discuss issues of global importance, including the global economic perspective, poverty eradication, economic development and aid effectiveness.
