According to the publication calendar, the CBK published the balance sheet and the statement of the CBK: August 2023 (https://bqk-kos.org/statistikat/serite-kohore).

CBK’s assets in August 2023 have increased by 76.6 million euros. The value of CBK’s assets on 31 August 2023 was around 1.9 billion euros. The increase in assets contributed mostly to the increase in deposits from commercial banks (for 30.2 million), from the Pension Savings Trust (for 17.9 million), from the central government (for 25.8 million), as well as the PAK (for 0.5 million).

CBK’s investments abroad, in the form of deposits and securities, increased by 30.8 million euros during the month of August 2023. Investments in deposits increased by 60.5 million, while securities decreased by 29.7 million euros, compared to the month of July 2023. The value of these investments in deposits and securities abroad on 31 August 2023 was 1,135.1 billion euros.

Deposits in CBK on 31 August 2023 were 1.5 billion, of which 824.0 million are from the central government, 556.3 million from commercial banks and 163.6 million from the PAK. The capital of CBK on 31 August 2023 was 87.7 million euros.

The reserve assets at the end of August 2023 marked the value of 1,391.7 million euros, which are 61.3 million euros higher than in the previous month. This increase has contributed to the increase in cash and foreign deposits for about 92.1 million euros. While investments in securities abroad have fallen by around 29.1 million euros.
