The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr.Fehmi Mehmeti, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to our country, Mr. Çagri Sakar.

Governor Mehmeti informed Ambassador Sakar about the latest developments in the financial sector, which continues to be liquid and stable, as well as the commitment of the CBK for the further development of the country’s economy.

The Governor thanked Turkey for the assistance provided to Kosovo and for the cooperation so far,and the projects implemented so far, while expressing readiness and interest for further cooperation.

On the other hand, Ambassador Çagri Sakar praised the achievements of the financial system of Kosovo so far and the commitment of the CBK to further advance this important sector for Kosovo, and expressed the commitment to further advance economic cooperation and increasing investments from Turkey in the Republic of Kosovo.
