The Governor of the CBK, Mr. Ismaili, hosted in a meeting the Head of the EBRD office in Kosova

Today, the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosova, Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, together with his colleagues, hosted in a meeting the Head of the EBRD office in Kosova, Mr. Sergiy Maslichenko.

Mr. Maslichenko, together with his team, congratulated the Governor Mr. Ismaili for his appointment as the Governor of the CBK, and offered him cooperation and support.

Governor Ismaili thanked the interlocutors for their so far contribution and cooperation in the financial and private sectors, as well as for their contribution to the economy of Kosova in general.

In the meeting it was discussed about the possibilities of cooperation in the future for the advancement of various fields related to the CBK’s objectives, financial inclusion and access to finance, green economy, financial system stability and the deposit system.

Governor Ismaili revealed the implementation plans during his mandate for the advancement of the CBK, related to the advancement of the regulatory and supervisory framework, the reform of the payment system, financial education and other important areas related to the CBK’s objectives.

In the meeting, it was concluded that the close cooperation between the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosova and the EBRD will continue in the future in terms of development of the financial sector, as well as professional technical assistance related to legal regulations.
