Governor Mehmeti congratulates children on June 1

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr.Fehmi Mehmeti, congratulated  children on June 1, International Children’s Day.

Our country is lucky to have talented and very interested children to gain as much knowledge as possible. During these years, the CBK has paid special attention to the financial education of children, but this year, due to restrictions related to pandemics, the CBK has not been able to organize its traditional activities of financial education for children, but we wish that in the coming year we continue such activities with which we aim to educate and increase the level of knowledge about money and finances in children.

International Children’s Day was first announced in Geneva during the 1925 World Conference on Child Welfare.
