The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti, met with the Board Member of the Central Bank of Malta and the Vice Rector for International Cooperation at the University of Malta, Frank Bezzina.

In this meeting, Governor Mehmeti informed the participants about the latest developments in the financial sector and the actions taken by the CBK, since the beginning of the pandemic, which has affected this sector to remain stable and liquid, and ready to help the citizens and the economy of the country at all times.

The cooperation of the CBK with the Central Bank of Malta and the University of Malta was also discussed at the meeting.

On the other hand, the participants thanked Governor Mehmeti for the reception and information provided. They also expressed readiness to increase cooperation between the two banking institutions.
