The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to our country, Mr. Christoph Weidinger.

Governor Mehmeti briefed Ambassador Weidinger on the latest developments in the financial sector and the CBK's commitment to overcoming the situation as easily as possible from the impacts caused by the pandemic.

The Governor also mentioned the measures taken by the CBK to assist citizens and businesses in overcoming the situation more easily, as well as actions to keep the financial sector stable and liquid.

Further, the Governor thanked the state of Austria for the support of the CBK and expressed readiness to further deepen this cooperation.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Weidinger thanked the Governor for the reception and for the information provided at the meeting, while expressed readiness on behalf of the Austrian State to continue cooperation with the CBK.
