Governor Ismaili is hosted at the meeting by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca

In the round of meetings with the heads of the constitutional institutions, the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili attended a working meeting with the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Glauk Konjufca.

During the meeting, Governor Ismaili informed President of Assembly Konjufca about the progress of the CBK’s work and strategic plans, including the requirements derived from the agreements concluded between the International Monetary Fund and the Republic of Kosovo.

Likewise, the head of the CBK informed President Konjufca about the main developments in the financial system, especially in the banking system, underlining the stability and sustainability of the financial system, within the required legal and regulatory parameters.

During the meeting, there were also discussions on the enhancement of cooperation between the legislative and the central banking institution of the Republic of Kosovo, informing him about the legal initiatives planned by the CBK, for which he expects the support of the legislative.

Lastly, Governor Ismaili received support from President Konjufca for any action and initiative that contributes to financial stability, strengthening internal capacities, reforms that have an impact on economic growth and sustainable development of the country.
