Governor Mr. Mehmeti hosted the meeting with the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Kosovo, Ms. Gerrie Willems

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti hosted in a meeting Ambassador of the Netherlands to Kosovo, Ms. Gerrie Willems.

By expressing his high gratitude for the visit to the CBK, Governor Mehmeti informed the Ambassador on economic developments and developments in the financial sector of the country, in particular the banking sector, which continues to perform well, underlining the growth of activities in this sector in supporting the country’s economic development and the high level of sustainability of this sector. The Governor also informed the Ambassador Willems on recent developments in other financial sectors, such as insurance sector, pension funds, microfinance institutions and non-bank financial institutions. Governor Mehmeti thanked the Ambassador for the visit and support of the state of the Netherlands to the Republic of Kosovo in the implementation of various projects. On the other hand, the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Kosovo, Ms. Gerrie Willems, highly praised the work of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo and the developments in the financial system, and expressed her readiness to further support the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo.
