Governor Ismaili was hosted in a meeting by the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili, was hosted in a working meeting by the President of the Republic of Kosovo. Mrs. Vjosa Osmani.

During this meeting, Governor Ismaili briefed President Osmani regarding the latest developments in the financial system and the work and activities implemented at CBK.

Governor Ismaili emphasized that the financial system in the Republic of Kosovo is stable and within the defined parameters.

At this meeting, Governor Ismaili and President Osmani also discussed aspects of inter-institutional coordination between constitutional institutions, including the membership process in the Council of Bureaux responsible for the Green Card for vehicles, and the support in placing the Republic of Kosovo in the list of countries in the world payment platforms.

Likewise, the objective of financial inclusion, digitization of banking services and support of the country’s economy, with other initiatives related to sustainable and responsible banking, was also discussed.

During this meeting, Governor Ismaili received institutional support from President Osmani for addressing the challenges as well as achieving the objectives of the CBK to the benefit of citizens and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in particular.
