In order to properly inform the public and the customers, the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, following the decision to revoke the registration and initiate liquidation procedures for the microfinance institution “Iute Credit Kosovo” J.S.C. and for the non-bank financial institution "Monego", provides this explanation.
After receiving the decision, the CBK has appointed the liquidators in the two aforementioned institutions, who will continue their work based on the laws and regulations in force.
Also, loans taken from customers at these institutions should be repaid, based on the conditions of the loan and the terms specified in the contract signed by the borrower and the lender, where any delay in the payment of instalments results in the increase of the instalment.
Moreover, the liquidators have placed information in the branches of the relevant institutions as where the customers can pay the instalments.
The following provides information on where customers and the media can go for any information related to the two institutions.
