Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo marks the 25th Anniversary of its establishment – the discussion of the Third Session “Financial intermediation within the banking sector in the region”

The panel discussion focused on the role of financial intermediation in the banking sector of the Western Balkans and its impact on regional economic development.

The panelists also highlighted the modernization of payment systems driven by the presence of foreign banks and the expansion of adoption of digital banking, which is very important for promoting financial inclusion.

The Deputy Governor of the CBK, Mr. Dardan Fusha made a presentation on the topic, thus paving the way for the begining of this panel.
